New owner from Solihull

I am the proud new owner of a E85 2.0 Z4 SE Facelift! Yep I know it's missing 2 cylinders and coming from a 340i touring so i'm definitely missing the power, but it's certainly nice in the corners and on a back road blast.

Bought as a project car which was local to me and had been sat for about 4 years due to the previous owners health I understand. Only doing a handful of miles, being serviced and getting an MOT. Came complete with a lovely CEL and in limp mode but have set to work on that with ISTA diagnosing a valvetronic unit which i've since replaced.

It's an original example and i've been working my way through a list of just neatening up things up and am on to trying to get the electric roof working next which is keeping me occupied...

Welcome and well done for rescuing it.
A few roof fixers on here, so let us know the symptoms and we’ll point you the right way.
Failing that, a trip to Bristol to see Alan (Number5) will soon see it sorted.
