Hi all
Great forum !

Got myself a 2007 2.0ltr convertible a week ago on Monday. :dance2: ( bit of a mid life crisis thing)
Unfortunately I picked it up in pouring rain (About 80 miles from home) and haven't had much chance to open the top since.
It was a bit scary to drive in the rain as i'm used to front wheel drive cars and I noticed the back moving a bit when accelerating .
I guess i'll get used to it
I plan to fit 20mm extenders on rear wheels and 15mm on front as others have done on the forum.
I has a bir poplar dash and is Monaco blue in colour.
It has a sat nav which pops up but the format is a bit dated. I don,t know yet if it can be updated but will look into it .
I love the look and have seen some beauties on this forum.
Anyway , thanks for the forum and I look forward to entering some conversations once i've had it a while .

Welcome to the Forum. The Car can take a bit of adjustment after FWD. You soon discover that the twitching at the rear is where the fun starts, it's not a monster in the boot.

Get out on some dry roads when you can and get used to many smiles per mile. :D

Hi, welcome and from which part of this vast land do you hail from? No wonder everyone thinks Scotlands a village hardly anyone says hi from the part of Scotland they are from

Sorry Angie.
I'm from Forfar (Near Dundee for non Scots)
As it happens the car came from Port seton in your neck of the woods.
Will post some pics soon.

Hey no probs. Ah Forfar been there a few times.

Ah not far from me at all and even closer still as I grew up in Longniddry, the next village along. Small world!

Welcome. Hope to meet you at one of the meets. You will love rear wheel drive.

Thanks, look forward to meeting all the " Locals".
How often do you meet and where?

I am quite new as well and have only been to one meet which was the run out to Skye for a couple of days. There was quite a few Scottish forumites as well as guys who had travelled quite a bit further. Had a great time but I have missed the last couple due to work.

Craig3.2 organises a lot of Scottish meets and Paul1000 does a lot in the North East. Hopefully I will get on the next one that either organises but organised hooning season is over I think.

Just saw the pics and she looks good. Must be well pleased and hoping the half decent weather continues!! :D
