New owner coupe

New Coupe owner here,
Picked her up this week, and took 5 hours cleaning and polishing yesterday
Have noticed the car tramlines, probably due to the run flats ,so might have to dig deep and get new non run flats ( anyone recommend any decent tyres at a decent price, any deals out there ? )

Either ditch the run flats or go Goodyear run flats as they are the best

I've used Uniroyal rainsports on both my Zeds and much prefer them to the runflats they came with, and they're a bit cheaper than some
There's a few threads on here though with tyre recommendations

Welcome..mine tramlined horribly until I got a couple of Uniroyal rainsport 5 tyres on the front. I got them online from Camskill they were about £200 for the pair but mine were 19" so 18's should be less I then had them fitted locally for £15 a tyre.

Welcome. Definitely the tyres causing the tramlining. Be sure to ditch those as soon as you can.

Will definitely look into the Uniroyal tyres, but im undecided at the moment whether to get the 108’s refurbished or to get a set of csl rep’s ???

Been looking at the 19” Riva DTM wheels with the Uniroyal tyre package from L K performance, all in incl tyre fitting, balancing and delivery £1250
Does this sound like a reasonable price or are there better places out there to buy ??
And just checking that this wheel tyre combo will fit a standard car without issues
I will keep the 108’s with the rf tyres incase i want to sell up

I wouldn't choose those numbers but others might , i would go for 225 35 19 on the 8j fronts & either 245 35 or 255 35 19 on the 9j rear , a 255 30 rear just doesn't do it for me on any Z4 , you sit almost on the back wheels & it offers little comfort or wheel protection & the 35 profile also reduces the arch gap as you can see below with my own Si sport coupe on factory Msport suspension

Mines on Riva DTM's on the standard suspension and ride height with 235/35 fronts and 265/30 rears but Mr Wilks is the main man on this so I'd go for his suggestion tbh.

Well i called Bmautoport and they’re out of stock of the Rivas, and wont be back in for 1-2 weeks
So i called round a few other suppliers and found Rimstyle to be very competitive in price, so ive order the Riva wheels and uniroyal rs 5 tyres
225-35-19 front
255-35-19 rear
