Having been thinking about it since last August, have finally paid a deposit on an AUC sDrive35i DCT in Melbourne Red with the Pure White design pack.

Now getting impatient as I want to drive it now! :driving: Just waiting on getting old 530i collected (VT done) & the Z4 having its dealer prep done. Hopefully will have it soon & will get some pics up!

Already ordered a stubby off eBay & thinking of smart top module.
 
Welcome and enjoy - check thoroughly before you sign and hand over your cash. Horror stories on here, '....and when I got home I found etc.' Take your time :thumbsup:

How did you find the VT process on your 530? I have a MINI on BMW pcp which I'm thinking of VTing.

Never done one before

So far its been fine, I've done all the paperwork etc, and picked my Z4 up yesterday :) - the only that hasn't happened yet is that they haven't picked up my old 530. I was sent a link to book a pickup appointment & the soonest appointment available was a week away so they're coming to get it next Thursday.

You will find that they'll try & subtly plant the seed of doubt in your mind re a 'footprint' on your credit score etc - but they're not allowed to put a black mark or negative impact on your file, & I had no problems setting up a new finance deal on the Z4!

The only niggle in the back of my mind is worrying they'll try & pick faults with the 530 when they come to collect it. Wish they'd collected it sooner so it was all done & dusted.

BTW - loving the z4. Had a fair few miles yesterday as I picked it up from a dealer in Stockport & had to drive it straight back to central London to get to work. Then home to Hemel Hempstead in the evening.

Did the vt all over the phone direct with BMW finance. Will get onto my sig & pics! May not be today as straight back to work in a second :( Have to pay for the car though! :D
