New owner - 28i

Hello everyone just joined the forum after purchasing a mineral grey sDrive28i M Sport 3 weeks ago. The car is coming up to 2 yrs old and had clocked just under 11000 miles with one previous owner. After coming from a Civic FN2 for 7 years it's taken a bit of getting used to but loving it so far, especially these sunny days we've had recently :driving: Only the other week it was de-icer now need sun cream!

First mod has been ordered in a stubby, but with being on a forum I don't think it will stop there! :(

Welcome aboard! I was a FN2 owner myself, in Milano Red. Bit of a change but I bet it feels a lot more refined and comfy.

How are you finding the 28i vs the 2.0l Vtec?
 
I recognise your username from Civinfo, before the FN2 I had the Type S, so going back few years!

Had Milano too, the best colour! :D
Apart from the stone chips! Lol

It's good to have the refinement in the ride and no rattles. Some reviews I read said the M sport suspension was hard but it feels like a Rolls compared to the civic! Did have Eibachs on which helped get rid of the crashy ride but still firm.

The z still likes to be revved to get the most out of it so similar to the FN2 but not as in your face and less drama. Although that might have had something do with Miltek and a header! :?

Called in get some leather cleaner and a price for a stage 1 correction, paint work is mainly ok.

There was a black Z4 taped up outside ready be worked on, was that yours?

The guy was doing a detail on a stunning R34 Skyline he said was kept in a carpeted, temp controlled garage! 8)

Picking up a foam Lance
Been saving up for Z4 for last 5 years
Should have one end of year all be well
On verge of buying one 5 years ago
But ended up buying the wife a new corsa
Go figure
As they say happy wife happy life lol
Will be happier when Z4s sitting in drive tho

Yes already been looking at springs as don't think will be able stretch to coilovers yet! Had a set of Eibachs on previous car and they were ok. Noticed your on KW V1, so may check pricing on them! :thumbsup:
