New (old) member looking for a Z4 (E89)

Mine has the 19" 296 alloys and took them off to clean and polish the inside, sad I know, also check for cracks and there are none. Did make me think though that I may replace them with non runflats as I do find the ride quite firm. This was also the reason to avoid then M Sport.
I got the pure white package and wear jeans most of the time. Yes you do get dark stains but I just give them a quick lick over with leather cleaner/feeder which to my mind is only a good thing.

What budget do you have and are y looking for an auto, 3.0 litre etc

Personally I went for cruise as a definite which severely restricts your market is restricted
 
I'm looking for the 35 in manual or auto guise.
As I've already said the first tick box (hers) is "blue".
The second one (mine) is "cruise"
Beyond that, the more ticks the merrier :)
Coming from an MSport Z3 the ride in the E89 is already in a different league anyway.
I nearly bought an ex-BMW staff car in 2010 just before going on holiday but delayed the deal pending a request for retro-fit of cruise control. On our return to the UK I was greeted with a 90day notice of redundancy and a negative on the retro fit. Needless to say the car deal didn't go ahead. Just as well really because it was sapphire black+pure white and would have been a real PITA to keep clean!

Blue will be just as bad to keep clean as Black had both but just ordered another Black one every time I say never again but I dont learn oh well!!! :roll: :tumbleweed:
 
I saw it Saturday morning, thought it looked really good. There was a red one there too but the front had faded badly compared to the bonnet and wings. Good choice you made there :thumbsup:

I'm not sure you did see it. There were two DSBs, one parked next to the red one, the other parked next to our old Z3 which you can just see on the picture

I think you may be correct. I looked at the DSB one next to the red one. I believe there was a Z3 in the car park but didn't see another blue one. Maybe you were test driving while I was there.
