Been gone a year or so due to life needs and musts. Selling my latest ride a SLK 250CDI AMG SPORT which has served me well up and down the country. However I have retired and now gone full time again but in a better position to own a nice Z4 again.

I’m looking for a low mileage 23i auto. If budget and right car came along a 35iS but I think that’s a pipe dream for now.

This will be my commute car 100 miles each way A roads averaging 50 mph.

I had my fingers burnt with a 20i N20 timing chain issue so steering well clear. A nice six pot time tested will be perfect.

I know I was unlucky but keep it simple stupid is key hear.

Well, I have bagged myself a little belter. 2011 23i M Sport High line. In Titan Silver with red leather. Auto (which I wanted), 31000 miles with full history. It is in near new condition with no signs of wear at all.

I looked at a few but most were not up to the standard I was seeking. This one ticks all the boxes. I will be replacing the RF tyres with Continental sport 7 all round. The alloys have not been refurbished and look brand new with no cracks. I spent ages under it with a torch and rolling the car to inspect the inside edges as I have been bitten by these before (326M).

I pick it up in the morning so will post photos tomorrow. I did pay over the odds but just couldn't let it go. But I am more than happy so that's all that matters.

Coming back after driving an SLK feels amazing as the SLK was just too boring. :driving:
