New OEM Front Discs and Pads Price

Hi all,

Just having a calliper replaced under warranty and the discs and pads are a bit low on the front and will need doing soon anyway. I've been quoted £561 by the dealer. What's everyone's thoughts on this price?

Just had a look on eurocarparts and they seem to be about £420 for the discs and £63 for the pads so not much of a saving by the looks of it once labour to fit has been added.

Really? It worked for me when looking for quotes last Thursday. Shame about the 50% but I guess if you wait a week or so another will be along.

I have to buy BMW discs and pads though don't I because of the Extended Warranty (insured)? I've checked BMW eBay shop and they are circa £440 or I can import them believe it or not from Turner Motorsport for £20 less than that including shipping!!

By the way HOT30 works still. ECP price for Pagid discs and Textar pads using the code was £335

You can also have a look at ECP products on eBay, they tend to be even cheaper

Non original parts won't be covered by your bmw warrantee as you mentioned, but the new parts will come with their own warrantee anyway.
Also if your engine blew up they wouldn't turn you away because you fitted pattern brake discs!

UP TO 50%.

Most decent stuff was 5-10% - including Z4M discs. Which made them no cheaper than the dealer (with BMW CC/forum discounts).
