OK, I'm not exactly new here as I've been a member since 2012 but have never posted.
Well I joined originally as I was looking to buy an E85 but that never came to anything other than a test drive in one (which both my wife and I loved).
Anyway now I'm the proud owner of a 2011 E89 SDrive 23i. It's a fairly basic model with nothing other than heated seats, no USB, no iDrive, only basic two speaker sound system etc.
This is (so far) my only photo of him (named Bruce by the previous owner so saw no reason to change it!).
I bought him privately, in good all round condition, with history and only 27k on the clock and then drove home 80 miles then another 60 miles the next morning and then went to A&E as my right wrist was still hurting following a fall at work 2 1/2 weeks previously, only to discover that I'd fractured a bone in my hand!! So no more driving for me.... all sorted now! Well I say sorted, it's not fully sorted as it still hurts and is in fact actually a chipped bone. But at least I can drive
(I'd also driven over a 1000 miles while in the US in the two weeks between the fall and visiting the hospital!!)
I've got a question but I'll throw that in another section, where it belongs 8)
