So the 206 was written off and this has replaced it. Not a bad little shopping trolley that's kid friendly and a 100,000 mile warranty

Fairly basic. Aircon, Bluetooth, electric front windows. That's about it.

They're happy with it. I seem to have got talked into adding quite some amount to the 206 money, but it will last a while I hope

Basic! ???

Now, when I were a lad... that level of equipment would have been Rolls Royce territory

This is a 1.2, 0-60 eventually. With another learner to add to the insurance next year...

My daughter now has the newest car in the household, what's wrong with that picture...

It was funny, 3 of us in the identical hire car they lent us and the bloody thing wouldn't go up a hill without dropping a gear and about 20mph.

Cheap as chips though.

Had lessons in one of these and then had one as a rental when my Brabus broke.

Have to rev the nuts of the engine but they can be really fun.

Congrats on the new purchase.

Your daughter may have the newest car in your household, but I know which motor I would rather drive from your household.
It wouldn't be the newest one, that's for sure :driving:

If you're the second owner, does it still have the 100,000 mile warranty?

Yep, it's an ex demonstrator from their fleet so they keep the warranty. It was one of my main deciding factors on the car.

Thought that must be the case - very good then, in my opinion!!!

We had a 1.0 Corsa C. I absolutely loved it, even when I had my Z4 Coupe at the same time. Taking advantage of Vauxhall's bad reputation with consumers is fantastic - they're brilliant cars for brilliant prices!

VX220 for me next, since people still say they'd choose a Lotus over it because of the badge.

I had the VXR, looked great but let down by shoddy build and the dealers get lost attitude so only had it a year :x I think VXRs are more fragile than the rest of the range.

Tim.

The VXR is a highly stressed little motor. This thing is the polar opposite. We've had an SE for about 6 weeks as a loaner which is what switched us on to the Corsa. This one is an Active AC with optional Bluetooth. I wanted an SE but they only had a 1.7cdti with the warranty and that was uninsurable for the kids.
