so ive got few bits in to change the front end and thought i would share them on here before i installed them in a couple of weeks when my plate gets transferred over

original mirrors that have been carbon dipped

still umming about getting the rear valance (without diffuser) done which is going to be quite expensive or half the price if i get it wrapped instead.... and also the roll hoops

Hi,

I thought I would share my Black rear - as I had to get the roll over bars painted - as wrapping did not work. But hydro printing would.

 
the hoops do look good in black

i wont wrap the rear valance as carbon wrap isnt very good as it has a matt finish from what i have seen whereas the carbon dipping is a glossy finish
 
your looks good but i didnt want to copy yours lol

all the carbon wraps i have seen so far dont look very good..... i will see what options are available in wrap although the dipping looks very good indeed as you can see from the pics :)
 
The boy that does my wrapping was telling me that you need to clear laquar the dipped parts & they don't last long.
 
Hi totally agree with carbon wrapping. As that was my plan but did not like the finish. Hence plan B. Hi gloss wrap

However not 100% happy with the mirrors and the hoops I was told was an no go.

I know of an hydro wrapper in hucknall - I post his details as he wants to wrap my wheels and defuser.

But considering getting engine cover don.

My only concern with hydro wrapping wS on an example that I have seen that it was not great with simetric shapes on an curved surface.

If you going black I would also do the indicators as well.

lux, £80 for the pair. better than buying the mirror caps i felt as these were a straight replacement and the caps fit over the existing casing

the engine cover will look good but i rarely open my bonnet so it would be a waste. as for the indicators, i like them as they are for the moment

very nice, pretty much the look i will be going for aside from the indicators which i will leave as they are
 
I like the look of those mirror caps. Especially as I've scraped the edge of my drivers mirror! :roll:
