I just cant live with the cloth as a roof of the car - what if it rains oke: Seriously, I bought it pury for vanity & rarity. Call me a poser if you will....
Always liked the Z3 better than the Z4--until I saw the coupe. Love at first sight. I think the proportions are much better in the coupe. Not to mention all that "trunk" space.
I, too, like having a "rare" car and mine is a daily driver so works out better not having a cloth top (which I prefer to the hard-top convertible BMW currently uses in all it's drop-tops).
looks terrible in that image, looks like its melted. im not sure why this product exists especially when the standard hardtop looks as good as it does ?.
this hardtop is the best ive seen yet, ithink it makes the roadster better looking, not only better than the old hardtop that was a bit too mgb , but better looking that the e89 with its not quite right boot. still a pain though as when i had a hardtop on an mx5, quite often you would leave the top on longer than you had planned as a pain to remove, and then sods law the day your out in it the sun comes out and you're envious of all the others you see with the top down.so i have had it with soft and hard tops, dont miss the mr at all as i am so in love with the mc, so much more or a complete car, oh yeah, i hated the scuttle shake on the z3mr too. the e89 is obviously the best concept if you like the fresh air, but, and a huge but for me is that i just dont like the looks enough.the coupe to my mind is streets ahead of the e85 and e89 in wow factor by miles. :fuelfire: oke: :driving:
I quite like it but I still prefer oem one.
But I wqs wondering last year why there are no aftermarket HT for z4 - fiat barchetta, which I used to own had an oem one or you could by aftermarket from wiesmann which waw perfect (also used to own one )
