Hello all,

I'm currently running a Mk5 GTI. I was gonna change to a 130i but I'm struggling to find one, so I'm now considering a z4 coupe.

My budget is 8 - 8.5k. Is it realistic to find a coupe of any spec in this price range?

Hello welcome, one just sold at the top end of your budget on here so it does happen but be prepared to look hard and constantly for a while...

Less than 3000 coupes in the uk. Dont know how many 130s there are but im sure its similar or a few more..

The problem you have is that you haven't yet realised that you really want a Roadster. Much more fun (when warm and dry) and a lot more choice.

I was all for the coupe and the roadster was never on my mind until one popped up at the right price. After a test drive with the roof down I was sold! Don't mock it til you've tried it
