A stubby is a shortened aerial, rather than the long whip aerial that comes as standard on the Z's.

Alot of us have changed them, deciding the shorter aerial looks better, if you get a decent one there's no detrimental effect to signal

IE if you look here: http://flic.kr/p/f7AFVB they all have stubby aerials.
 
i get you now, stubby, they do look better, like the pics from the meet "ste", does anyone know why mine has reflectors on the front bumper just infront of the front wheels. most on the pics dont have them
 
Yours is a facelift model, which the reflector was added to the 're designed' front bumper and other minor touches.
 
The 2.0i Sport has leather sports seats so it will be an SE - looks good though as it's got the same multi spoke sports wheels - should ride smoother too - critics preferred the ride of the SE over the harsher sport.
