Well OK maybe I'm not quite new but this is my first post.

First off I would like to say thanks to the forum as a whole as the advice for buying Z4 on here is great and I really helped me in choosing my car.

I don't actually own a Z4 yet but I will be picking my Z4 coupé up next week and to say I'm excited would be a bit of an understatement :D . I have been driving round in a Volvo C30 for the last 18 months and it has been a good car to me. However, I was really after something that was a bit more sporty as well as something I could use every day. After trying a 350z and a Z4 I decided a Z4 was for me. It has taken me a while to get one that I am happy with but hopefully the wait will be worth it.

On of the things that drew me to the Z4 was how similar it is to the Triumph GT6. Having owned one of these for the last year as a weekend car it has really made me want to get something that is fun to drive but not having the downfalls of running a classic as an everyday car.

Anyway, I'll hopefully be posting a lot more over the next few months as I'm sure there will be some stuff I will need to know about my new purchase :)

hello and welcome

the coupe does have a look of the GT6 or the MGBGT, both great classics cars

Nice GT6, not so sure about the wheels on the spitfire.
Hope you enjoy the new addition, good luck  :driving:

Thanks for the welcome guys.

This is one of my best mates spitfire. Those are the wheels that came with it. Needless to say we rebilt the suspension and put the correct size tyers and it now sits like my GT6 :D

Picked up the car today. Was a great 100 mile drive back from the dealers. Got some quick snaps. I'll put up some better ones when i get chance :D

Welcome to the forum. I am weakening to the Coupe (sorry roadster guys)

Oh and a nice example of a GT6. My dad used to have a canary yellow one. Beautiful cars.

Hi and welcome, I get the GT6 thing  and the Z4 Coupe is a stonking design, I can't think of a better looking Coupe from the last 20, years even at twice the price. I had a similar thought process when buying my convertible, but with the Healey 3000 in mind.
