Greetings:

Just bought a 2006 montego blue Z4 3.0si roadster. And I found this forum. My wife and I live in Walla Walla, Wa. A least for the time being. We are looking to make a move to europe for a few years. Looking forward to surfing the forum.

Yes tweed, I did sell the speedster, and the husky, and the R12ST. The speedster is just a weekend runabout town type of car. The engine is a brute. 170 HP/173LB Ft torque. So the little beast would run pretty hot. And with high performance exhaust, one had to forgo the heat exchanger. So no cabin heat. Even with the top up, one would get wet in the rain. I liken the car to the ultimate trophy wife. Beautiful to look at but a bitch to live with.

I wanted to have a sports car that I could get in and take a long trip. Plus, when we move to europe, I was sure the speedster would have been problematic trying to register and have pass MOT, TUV and such. But, I could be wrong. Never the less, that was a road I was not willing to travel.

Looking good Jerry - barely broken in then.

If you right click one of the photos and click "Copy Image Location" (or the equivalent on a Mac) and then click "Img" on the forum "post a reply" box, and paste the link you can display the image in your post. Us lot are lazy you see so images in a thread means less work :)
