Hi -

I've lurked around the forum for a while now, allready taken advantage of the knowledge found here.

I thought this might be a good time to introduce myself. Bought my very first Z4 (2006 model) this month - loving it!

My Z4 is what I suppose is the EU entry level; 2.0i with cloth interior with very few extras which include 18" ellipsoid rims, metal paint (black sapphire), heated seats, OEM ipod integration (waiting for installation of the BMW Business CD to get this to work), wind package, multifunction sports leather steering wheel, cup holders and storage net. Nothing fancy.

Having never owned neither a two seater, a convertible or even a rearwheel drive car - everything is somewhat new to me - new but extremely fun!

Greetings, and welcome to the forum... we don't see to many folks from Denmark on here, is the Z4 a popular car over there?

Get some pics posted in the gallery when you get time :D

Thank you for the warm welcome -

Denmark is very strange in regard to "special" cars. mad car taxes, mad insurance prices and a weather which isn't exactly guaranteeing many top down hours ;)

I believe that there has been 7 private leases this year and 14 new sales (statistics from dealer) - this doesn't however include imports. So a conservative guess would be 25 in 2007.

I'll see if I can get some pictures up asap!

Welcome, albanoodle!

I was in Copenhagen with my previous 2.2 last summer and some guys came up and studied it with fascination.
From talking with them it was obvious these kinds of cars are not common. I wonder how they would have reacted to my new car, the M version.

I got you on the taxes and insurance, Norway is pretty much the same.
Paying trough my bloody nose to keep this car.

Hahahah!

Yeah! I don't think there's too many Z4M's out here that's for sure!

The capital/Copenhagen is increasingly being populated by "nicer" cars though - which is good!

If you ever get your M to Copenhagen, please let me know
