Hi all, nice to meet you. Attached are some pics of my sdrive 35i. I’ve fitted the black rims so that I can get the BMW rims refurbished and I’m in the process of changing the front grilles to all black.

Thanks guys. I think I prefer the black wheels too. However, the nice exterior hides a couple of issues. The dreaded wastegate rattle and a botched attempt to retrofit cruise control. Refurbished and modified turbos being fitted early sept, resolved most of the cc fiasco faults apart from it seems to be stuck in sport mode.

It's funny how both the sets of rims make the car look completely different.
Originals are 'classy' looking, the others make it look a bit 'brutish/hard core'. Both work depending on what frame of mind you are in
