Morning people!

Just thought I’d pop a message across. I am now an owner of a 20i SDrive E89

Few plans for it but would love for you guys to five your input

It currently has the 18” alloys and I am after the 19” 5 spoke rims
Wanting the black kidney grills
And possibly lowering too?

At the moment absolutely loving the car!

Don't know - id be happy as is but everyone has their own idea of what is just right and that's the joy of owning and making your mark on them. What I like is that members of this forum don't make judgements about changes people make - we're just happy your enjoying your car :thumbsup:

Top down well done sir! Only need the top when its raining and you can't maintain enough speed to slip stream the drops over the top.
 
Had to have the roof down! Although I’ve just gone through the problems page and there seems to be a lot of roof mechanism problems...?

Quite a few members on here are good at sorting problems - don't worry about it. Just ask on here first not a the main dealers :o
 
Welcome to the forum OP - your car looks great as it is. :thumbsup:

But as someone said, if you do go for 19s don't put run-flat tyres on them if you want to avoid cracked rims!
 
Also guys I have a question

I have the 2.0 N20 engine 20i

When hearing the car at low regs or stationary I hear a ticking and tapping sound, the best way to describe is probably like an old transit van diesel!

Is this normal? And is there anything I can do to stop it as it doesn’t sound healthy

From the pics it looks like it already has black kidneys on it. Nice car by the way and welcome to the forum. Two great choices you made there:

1. Buying a Zed
2. Joining this forum

I was bought a set of black kidneys for Christmas but I just cant make my mind up as to whether I really want to fit them?

Anytime your near Blackpool give me a shout and we can go out.

Hi, these engines are never going to be quiet due to the noise the direct injection produces but later models had an improved acoustic engine cover to lessen the din.
I’d have thought a breakers would come up with one :?
