Hi All,

Now that it's been a few months I own my Z4 and lurk around the forum, I'm thinking it's about time that I register and share with you all a bit of my everyday happiness... :-P
The baby is a 2007 black sapphire Z4 coupe, getting around 80K km on its second ownership! It's in a fairly good condition and all genuine so far...

Back some 11 years ago, my dad who was working at that time for an automotive parts provider gave me a BMW calendar. Inside the first E85 I was to see... and it seems the car didn't leave my heart ever since!
So I didn't go for the roadster in the end, but here I am now, more than happy behind the wheel of an amazing designed car - my dreamed car!

In the facts, I drive the car in eastern France where I live, a few kilometers away from the German border (Alsace). That means I won't probably participate regularly in the "Spotted..." thread, however I have the chance to get on the unlimited Autobahn quite often, hehe... :P

Now enough talk, here are some pictures, the first ones taken the day after I finally got her :

Thank you all for the warm welcome :)
Black coupe SE nice, rare. Hows the ride harshness? I like those 17s..
Ride can be quite harsh on bad roads, I must say. But I guess this can be mainly attributed to the runflat Bridgestone from previous owner... I have planned to change them with Goodyear assymetrics, after I'll get my Meyle control arms fitted!
Any other good advice I should take to improve the ride?

No, I am French, sir :D
I've joined here because Z4s don't seem to gather much interest in France (bloody Renault/Peugeot supremacy, they barely give you the choice to look at something else down here!).
So I thought I could rather enjoy some crazy right-wheel drivers stories together with British humor for a change!
Hope I won't regret it!

Lovely looking Zed you've got there
Thank you. That is so far an all genuine Z4, and I'm still not sure if I will mod it or not... I like those 18" style 203 after all, think it's not that common anymore!
Minor work is already scheduled, like brake calipers repaint as they look really rusty.
Wheels' hubs show also a lot of corrosion, I will need to find a way to get that removed very soon!

Your written English is very very good, in fact better than most on here from the UK!
