Have to say, Im impressed by the ride of the SE. 19" Wheels got delivered today, woohoo, so will see how much they affect the ride over the 17" with runflats.

Any pics of your retrimmed steering wheel ? Did you get the perforated leather on the sides and the M coloured stitching ?

Your drive will definitely improve now the 17" run flats are gone. I bet 19" alloys look the business :thumbsup:
I have 18" M Sport alloys on mine.

I went for the double padding and perforated sides, also opted for red stitching :)

I may be wrong, but I thought for a small deposit, they'd send you a loaner wheel? That could be some other place though.

Mines an almost daily driver, I only ever seem to drive to the gym & back these days :)

Nope, you are right, he will do a loaner... But adds to the cost !!! I'm a Yorkshireman, I hate paying for stuff I don't have to !!! :wink:
 
Where are you in Huddersfied Kam?

Seen a few Coupe's around the Lindley area recently.
 
So got the new wheels on the car, and thought I would share a pic. Not the greatest pic, taken by the wife, as i had to fit the wheels in the dark on Sunday evening but you get the idea.

Early impressions - Why would anyone stay on runflats ?!?! The ride should be awful with 19" wheels and so little rubber, but its still far better than 17" with runflats ! Only thing that does feel slightly worse is driving over cats eyes. And the sound their little heads make as they go crunch !!! :evil:

Thanks fella, but Im old and the ride is just so nice at the moment !!! And the roads around my part are horrendous, worst in the country !

I know what you mean, I'm on South Yorkshire and the roads are awful. I fitted coil overs at the weekend which has made an improvement.

Getting the dampening and alignment done next Friday so fingers crossed for a great ride :)

I know what you mean, I'm on South Yorkshire and the roads are awful. I fitted coil overs at the weekend which has made an improvement.

What coilovers did you go for? And how did you decide the amount of drop you wanted ? Keep me posted on how you find them across the rough stuff.
