I don't normally listen to country anymore, anyways, some Godsmack, GnR, AC/DC, Rob Zombie, In Extremo, Metallica, and much much more.

But there are lots of times as others have said, where you just need to shut off the radio and listen to the music the car makes. It's such a closer bond between man and machine.
 
MOZART Symphony 41 (Jupiter) Loud with full bass. Nothing gets more looks than a young guy in a sports car with Symphony blasting. And no one tells you to turn it down.
 
Some, err, unusual choices of tunes for folk in their Z4s...

But, I just burnt a few new discs for the car and my tastes are rather diverse too:
GnR
Air
Paul van Dyk
Oasis - Definately Maybe
Anjunabeats Vol 5 and Vol 6
Prodigy
Zero 7
Euphoria Vol 1 (1999 - best ever compilation!)
And just about anything inbetween...

My most recent buy was Invaders Must Die, the new Prodigy album - the Z4 speakers just don't do it justice though :(
 
Seems we have a lot of Prodigy fans here :D

I went to see them live in December, i got my jaw dislocated in the moshpit but it was awesome 8)

I've not seen them live since they released Fat Of The Land - but can still remember feeling the bass right through me when they kicked off their set. Bets gig ever, helped by having the Foo Fighters as the support act, bonus. I'm, ahem, a bit older than you so started off back in the days of "The Prodigy Experience", techno days/daze...

currently got a bit of the boss bruce springsteen on as my ipod has run out of battery!

I currently have Rage Against the Machine, The Prodigy, Red Hot Chillis, The Verve, Hendix and a bit of Nirvana stacked up in my changer. Glad mine came with Carver sound (thou wish I had iPod connectivity)

I find a nice mix of Zion I, Atmosphere and Brother Ali in the hip hop stakes to be good. A bit of Chromeo is always good for electro. Punk/hardcore I go for stuff like No Trigger, The Gaslight Anthem, maybe a bit of New Found Glory for pop-punk! And a nice bit of MJ to rep' the 80s! :D

That is pretty much the sorta thing I listen to, with some Daft Punk, Prodigy, Cribs, The Who, Beatles thrown in, pretty mixed bag really.

Saw 'em on their last tour when they played Leeds Cockpit with Set Your Goals (I think it was). It was a bit mental.

Yeah man, bands like that were the soundtrack to my days at 6th form, back in the S/T and Sticks & Stones days. I'm 23 now and still enjoy it!

Yeah I went to that tour too, in Nottingham, excellent. Had Set Your Goals new album on in the car last night, as it happens.

Haha, I'm 23 too, still love it though.
 
i've just realised that my cd will play mp3's, cool, there's also an auxillary input, that i'll have to try, any suggestions what devices plug in there?
 
Cruising along the California coast with the top down, and the Beach Boys "Sounds of Summer" in the CD sounded pretty good this morning.
Otherwise some Reggae or Island music works pretty well. Love the XM Radio!
