So long term lurker, and nearly bought one 18months ago, but plummed for a V6 SLK 280, but as of weekend just gone happy to say finally in the club.......

Well the interior in the Mercedes is a definite step above the Z4 without question in every way, the bmw sounds and goes better and feels more engaging, one thing that drove me mad was the constant creaking and squeeking of the hard top when it was up, no amount of adjustment tinkering, sealing the rubbers etc really improved it, it was super water tight though. Tax on the bmw is half the price virtually per year, driving it back from the coast on a 2hr motorway and A road drive I would say it was averaging 10mpg better

It looks like Toledo Blue, which was only offered on pre-facelifts.
