New member saying Hi

Hi , I’m new to the forum.
Just about to collect my first z4 2ltr SE on a 05 plate with an extremely low mileage of 27000. Looking forward to being back in a 2 seater after being in estates for several years now .
Just a question does anyone know if this is a timing chain or belt car ? As I’ve seen some people have had issues ? . Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Don't ever recall hearing of such issues on a Z4. But not an engine I know so hang on for a 2ltr expert.

Welcome to the forum Back in 2005 drove a 2.0 tester the dealer had on display - nimble and revs in a lovely way, I remember. Immediately placed an order on mine.
