New member & New z4 owner

Also a new entrant to this forum, @birdy_z4, but can attest to the help and advice you'll find in here. 2 weeks in, I've learned loads. Welcome - and yes...great looking car!

You've been busy!
Could you elaborate on what you mean by this please?
Mine lives in a garage on a Ctek, but wifey's E85 sits in the car port and a simple to attach solar charger would be a good idea.

Hi

I bought this and some extenders to put on the garage roof and feed the wire through the wheel trim to enable the bonnet to close.

It seems to be making sure battery is at least keeping up with charge, sat a week or so and started first time. I can post some pictures if you like. (Unlike my company car which needed jump starting recently)

I have tracker and dash cam wired in to permanent feed

Thank you.
I do have a solar panel just big enough to maintain the charge, connected through the bonnet gap.
I wondered if you'd found a more elegant solution
