Hi all,

My name is Jason, i've been a huge Mazda MX5 fan for a long time, owning MK1's for many years and recently I thought;
"I'm sick of not having a modern car, that actually has some sort of luxury whilst driving".

So here it is!

I've got myself an E89 2012 Z4 20i.
Not had it for long but enjoying every day.

Nice car.

I recently changed from an MX 5 Mk 3 to the Z4. The Mazda was good fun and OK as a second car, but I found it noisy and plasticky. The Z4 does everything without fuss.

Enjoy your new car.

Another ex-5'er here! In fact I still have a Mk2.5 sitting in the garage. That will be sold in the new year. Had 5s since 1998!!!

Hi and welcome also had mx5 Mark 1 back in z4 the mx was good but this is my second zed and there’s a huge difference in my opinion between the two

Welcome to Zed ownership Jason :driving: I’m another who migrated from an MX5 (Mk3 with folding hard top). Although a great car, the Mazda is in a different (lesser) league in space, comfort and overall refinement terms. Nice looking Z4 you have there :thumbsup:

Hi and welcome to the forum. :thumbsup:

Bonus forum points for photos in your first post. :)

Welcome aboard. Cool colour on an E89. 8) A bit of comfort is good for the bum. But your going to miss that play full little Mx5. :wink:

Thanks for the warm welcome all!

I was debating between getting a white or black Z4, in the end the white just looked too good to pass up, (though it's a massive pain to keep clean).

Loving the electric hardtop, love everything about it really, though I did have to take it back to the dealership only after 2 weeks of having due to front brake pad sensor fault, but that is fixed now and i'm happy again :D
