Hello, from Ohio USA. Admitting I joined cuz I have a problem. Not sure where to post it but here goes. I'm recovering my headliner, it was sagging. after removing the headliner I found a cable hanging down at the back of the roof I didn't disconnect, there's nothing on the headliner to connect it to and nothing on the roof either. Is yours a coupe?

If so I think it’s for the internal alarm monitoring that sits in the headlining
 
Yes I have a coupe, but there are no connections on the headliner and I have been driving it without the headliner installed without any issues. Its a 2007 if that matters.
 
I don’t think the us market had that fitted having seen a us video on how to remove the headlining
