Hi all,
New member here who is looking to get a z4 2.5.
Got a couple in mind, anything in particular I need to look out for?
Going for a 2003/4/5 model, it's going to be a weekend second car.

Welcome to the forum. :)

Weekender or daily. Go on condition and check the service history. These cars generally take the miles well, so don't be out of by high milage if the rest checks out.

Hi and welcome you will know it’s the right car in your bones it will sing out to you regarding high mileage not really a concern as long as it’s been looked after which you could see on previous mots ect good luck and hopefully find your PAJ

Hi and welcome - as a chap who drives most miles in my daily with the top down look out for the desirable electric; heated Msport seats. These hug you better in corners and (combined with the very efficient heater) make the Zed an all year round top down car. Roof motors tend to sit in water then fail but don't be put off by a non working roof (in fact use it to haggle the price down) these can be fixed by some of the forum members for less than an average night out!

Enjoy your search.

Welcome to the forum OP - I hope you find the right one soon.

Hi and welcome, I bought a 2.5 SE last Friday and I cant stay out of it. It also has the m sport heated seats as mentioned above they are very nice, I looked at a few before buying mine, Good luck with your search.

Thanks for the replies.
I've found a possibility, lovely condition inside and out, full service history, drives like a dream but there is one issue that I need advice on.
The drivers side door handle needs a bit of a tug to open it, not excessive but it's an annoyance. A quick Google has brought up this issue on a few forums but couldn't really find a fix. Is it something I need to worry about?
I'd normally walk away but everything with this car is spot on, plus it has the leather heated seats which I really want in the car I get.

If that's the only issue I wouldn't let it stop you
Buy it - there will be members here who will have had the same door handle problem and will no doubt be able to help you
