:D Hi All, Just bought myself a 2003 Z4 2.2 Auto. So far my only real question is how do I get this stupid grin off my face as people are starting to stare! But seriously I did check on the forum before I took the plunge and I must say it was extremely helpful so thank you to all those who have offered their wisdom. One little question, I am sure I saw a mention of a hardtop being available, is this a viable mod for the winter???? Either way so far my roof doesn't seem to leak so its not a real issue.
 
Hi and welcome - I still have a grin on my face when driving the Zed even after 7 years of driving them. :)

Should be no issues with the roof leaking but I have a hardtop and just use it in the winter months. Stops the ravages of salt spray on the soft top and for me looks good and gives an alternative style to the Zed - warmer/quieter inside as well.

And before anyone else tells you - a few pics of you new drive would be great - enjoy :thumbsup:
 
Hi and welcome, would not bother with a hardtop you get lots of time in the winter to run with the roof down. You will have a bigger grin on a Sunday morning, sun out roof down out for a run. Enjoy :driving:

Just need to find out the best stuff for cleaning the black dash and also the aluminium now and I will be sorted. I am also planning to get the IPOD connector that fits into the multichanger, my local ICE shop is quoting £120 for the kit and £60 for fitting, no idea if that is good.
