Need to try powering the pump directly from the plug where it enters the boot.

Il get it jacked back up tonight and have a look. Going to be tricky to follow the wire i reckon as it disappears straight away into the body of the car into , im guessing the inner wing section. Il test voltage to it first then try and get to the wiring . Does it have to be a fused wire? What will happen if i just run a live to it from the battery?

Sorry to revive an old post, but THANK YOU... everywhere said the trunk... I had a suspicion the relay was behind the fuse box. So my 04 Z4 3.0 does not have an actual EKPS?, just a relay? Cause my scanner is saying no comms to the EKPS, unit...(I will create a post about why I was looking for it)And is it just the bottom 2 screws to remove the fuse box, or are there more above it where the passengers air bag is?
