New Member from West Lothian

Hi Everyone

Just joined after buying my first two seater, a lovely 2007 2.0 Sport in silver. Seems to have been well looked after and had loads of history. Got her last week but have been busy getting my first two updates out the way, namely replacing the stereo and retrofitting cruise control. Thanks for all the great advice scattered around the forum, it definitely made it much easier. Hopefully will be changing from run flats at some time in the future and maybe change my grills for the all black ones so already have the bug

Welcome to another Scottish member, our number is definitely growing.

Yes you’ll definitely start spending money on things you didn’t even know existed never mind didn’t know you’d need in a very short space of time being on here

Welcome to the Scottish Clan section of the Forum!

Looking very tidy

Hope you can join in some of the runs and social meets that various members organise. :driving:

Hello?
Another foreigner? What is the place coming to?

But seriously, welcome aboard. The car looks great and my 'manager' hails from Kilmarnock so anti-Scots jokes are a double-edged sword down here :D

And looking at your third pic, well done for trying to improve the neighbourhood's car choices.

Hello and nice looking E85, very shiny wheels
There are lots of us older people on here so on behalf of all of us I've got to ask "what's the thing above the radio that says smartphone holder for?" Is it some kind of new-fangled air freshener? :D

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You'll find the longer you spend on here the dearer Z4 ownership gets.

Hello and welcome. Quite a few of us North of the border here

That’s a nice looking car you have and in the best colour 8)

How do you get on with that stereo? When I got mine that same head unit came with it but I’ve got the original too and prefer the OEM look.

Many thanks for the welcome everyone

Was going to try and fit a full android touchscreen device and then saw this. Less than £150 including the adaptor kit and DAB aerial and it comes with an in-built phone holder, what’s not to like

It’s only been in less than a week. Is a bit of a tight fit to get in but really like it so far. Excellent DAB reception, can use my Apple Music and allows Bluetooth and Sat Nav. Have read a bit about problems with the Pioneer app but so far so good :D

Nice looking z, those alloys do work well with a Silver Roadster.

Yes,the Scottish number seems to be growing on here these days.
Maybe see you at a meet,if my 14 years of z4 meets hasn't came to an unnatural end, lol.

Good first post,with pics
I like the seude look stereo surround. Was that a bought one,or one you trimmed yourself)got trimmed?
As I always remember seeing the z4 e85/6 stereo trims and thought they were a bit plain,if you wanted to take out the original stereo.

Hi thanks for the kind words, the stereo surround is only a sort of textured plastic bought as part of the fitting kit, think it looks more soft because I took the photo straight after fitting before I wiped it down, fits nicely though. Was really lucky with the alloys, the garage I bought the car from quoted me a price and then decided to get them powder coated (as well as replacing the vacuum pump and rocker cover seal and getting a couple of trolley dings removed) so really great service and helped massively with making the car look so good :D .

Welcome to the forum and Z ownership. Nice looking car. My family come from the Lothians, handy for a lot of nice places to drive, have fun.
