Greetings from the beach in Stuart, Florida. 2003 Z4, 3.0i, 6Speed, Sport Pkg., Maldives Blue roadster, 47K miles bought exactly one month ago today. 
I've had it serviced, some belts and hoses changed, a new valve cover gasket, and will have the plastic trim around the lower section of the windshield replaced tomorrow. Local BMW owners are very fortunate to have two independent repair shops that both do excellent work......at about 50% dealer costs.
My first roadster was a 1972 Triumph Spitfire. Loved it, no problems but a little warm in traffic here in Florida. Then owned a 1962 Porsche 356 Super 90, 1976 Corvette, followed by a series of family cars, SUV's, etc, and a 1999 Miata. My daily driver now is a Subaru, great vehicle. I owned BMW motorcycles from about 1971 to 2011, when the last one was sold. Decided it was time to put a little thrill back in my life, so I started searching for a sports car. Looked at Jag XK8's, Audi TT, Miata's, Corvettes, but could not get away from the appeal of the Z series. Looked at some Z3's, and Z4's and found this beauty for sale by a private seller, that is very much a car enthusiast. Both independent shops gave it the thumbs up, and the deal was done.
