Actually it referrs to the series "Home improvement" and its main character Tim "The Toolman" Taylor.
Got the nickname as my mates picked up on the fact that I was always buying new tools for my DIY projects including this still in bits in the garage:

Yes it was the colour that attracted me to the car in the first place. Did originally look at a 2.0 4 cylinder but I am happy I chose the 2.2 6 instead. The engine sounds fantastic especially when I push it up towards the red line and never sounds harsh or thrashy :D
