Hi All,

Here I am, a new forumer from Italy. I bought the car some years ago (how many? Can’t remember, time flies when you're having fun) but I have discovered this forum recently and found some really good advice and discussions on here so thought I would join.

If my Z4 was in UK it would be a “06 plate” and at the moment it has 190.000 km on the clock (mostly made on the motorway). It’s a 3.0si roadster with the following (main) specs:
- Black sapphire metallic
- New England Sattelbrau Extended leather
- Light poplar grain wood
- Automatic transmission
- Multifunction steering wheel
- Chrome Line Interior
- Wind deflector
- Xenon Light
- BMW alloy wheel, M double spoke 135

I made some upgrades, like the BMW original iPod interface and the cup holder (just on driver side, my wife can stay without it) and some others will come.

Ciao

Diego

Welcome mate - lovely looking zed with the best engine and a proper sports car ie roadie :D :D

Been meaning to visit Italy for years - looks a beautiful country.

Hi Diego,

Welcome along ! - Probably the best country in Europe to own a roadster  , keep sending in photo's of beautiful sunny countryside and make us all jealous  . Although some of the parking will make others on here (Including myself) wince.

Ciao,

Stu.

Nice looking Zed Diego,

Welcome to the Forum

Be interested to see some photos of your interior it sounds very interesting.

:driving:

Lovely looking car, great engine choice ! Interesting to see that brown-ish leather, not many around. Any more pics?

Can I ask you Diego. I'll be looking to buy an e89 Z4 from Italy and one of my must haves on the options list are heated seats. However, I can't find ANY at all. Obviously the all year weather is pretty nice and warm, but would have thought that some people, especially in the northern part of Italy, would like to have this option as it does get pretty chilly up there. Or is it just a case of the Z4 being fine weather only car for 99% of Italians hence no need for heated seats? Cheers.

Thanks to all :D

To answer randomly:
- I live in the North-East of Italy, indeed not a very warm place if compared to the South, but enough to enjoy my Z4
- I'll post some updated pics of the interior as soon as I've the car cleaned
- heated seats is a quite uncommon optional in Italy: I can't say why, but I think that here almost all cars with heated seats have them just because included in the standard equipment. It's strange because if you buy a car with German specs (not too difficult where I live) it probably has the heated seats as standard.

Ciao

Diego
