Hi guys, newbie here from near Southampton. Picked up my first ever BMW yesterday (2010 30i M Sport Z4) - chuffed with the car and really impressed with you lot already after having a good read through some topics. Couldn’t resist getting out of my RS3 with the market doing what it’s doing, but wanted something fun for next year while my little old golf goes for a ‘sympathetic restoration’.
The Z4 isn’t the highest spec in the world so looking to retrofit Cruise control at the very least and will see how it goes after that.
Looking forward to getting in the mix.

Your car is a lovely colour combination and the 3 litre N52 is a great engine - no wonder you are chuffed!

And good luck with your Golf project - I really liked the early 16V I had many years ago.

For me, the 30i is probably the sweet spot in the range, I'd probably still have mine if I hadn't had to sell... enjoy!
