Welcome to the forum!

I've heard good things about autotech performance in telford as bmw specialists but haven't had call to use them just yet bit. I use a local garage for servicing & mot's and they've never done me wrong although not bmw specialists.

As for the roof motor move its fairly staightforward to do yourself if you are flexible enough to get in the boot. I did my own. The hardest part was cutting the lower cable ties to actually release the housing from the roof frame.
All i've got left to do is make a nice carpet cover for it now.
The place it sits in is the little recess at the back left of the boot between the wheelarch and bulkhead. It was as if it was designed to go there originally. Theres plenty of photos around the forum and guides if you fancy tackling it yourself.

thanks for the recommendation chapeau, although Ive booked her into a local indy for this weekend - also comes well recommended I'm expecting to pay just shy of 300£.

its likely il do the roof motor myself -at some point! Did a restoration on my cloudy headlights yesterday was going to jump on here and have a go look at the roof motor but its so bloody cold I made an excuse and wussed out!! yea i've seen a few guides on here, il get round to it. thanks for the welcome! :D

Welcome cyrilsneer88! Good to see you've already started/continued on the mods route

For the wheels, I changed my originals from "sparkle silver" to Anthracite (I'm not a fan of too much bling), but now have satin black wheels - mainly to protect the original Alpina Dynamics as they are susceptible to cracking on the rears. If you want to see options, open a post requesting copies of wheels against your body colour - there's nothing guys on this forum like more than posting pictures of their cars (unless it's NSFW pics of boobies....) :D

For your aux/BT issues and fixes, keep us up to date with your plans as it looks like an interesting alternative

I would get your motor relocated, especially now winter is here. Durham Dave did mine - for £80 and a tank of fuel, its an easy option (especially when a new motor costs £500 - £800 for motor and labour, Dealers costing more...)
