Had my Z4 2012 2.0 a couple of months now had a few jobs to do, leaking boot with finger’s crossed I’ve sorted now and had the alloys refurbed, I got the car with the intention of using it at weekend’s but at the age of 57 it’s given me back the love I had in my youth for maintaining my car and I’m driving it everyday and loving it.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

It's good to know you have now got the Z4 bug, but we do like to see some photos of the car on here!

Welcome. There's more than a few 50+ owners on this forum for sure! :driving: Be aware though - we like a photo - :worthless:

One newbie to another - just not got my Z4 yet - welcome. It’s very welcoming and full of help and support.

Picture from last year taken by seller.

Hurrah! Pictures! Welcome (and to the 50 somethings group too) :D

I had an almost identical one to start off with.. time to ditch the whippy :fuelfire: and those indicators...

Whippy aerial has gone and unfortunately looks like the clips have broken off one of the side indicators so they have used araldite to stick it on, which is proofing a challenge to get off.
It’s my first ever convertible, doesn’t have an iDrive but I don’t mind.

Welcome to the forum, lots of us erm over 50s here. I was a little surprised when I joined, thinking they would all be in their 20s and would think I was an old fart. But no just a really nice bunch of fellow slightly older sports car owners enjoying their cars. :poke:

Hi and welcome to the forum, lovely looking Z4 and I was the same age when I got mine :D

Yes this is definitely the 'old gimmers' forum. Mid '50s seems to be the average age.
Some are older; Ronk went to the premier of many Shakespeare plays! :D :poke:
