Hi guys, finally had the courage to post on the forums. I have been lurking a good 6 months before.

Got myself 03 E85 2.5 last November that I plan to ship it back to my home country when I'm done with my studies here.
The Zed is in decent shape as I am on a tight student budget :D

Some specs:
Manual
Nav
10 speakers but not Carver
83K Miles
Bluetooth
CD changer
No wind deflector :(

Hi Nik. Welcome along. It I'd a friendly place on here, so about time you stopped lurking ;-)

Car looks a really tidy example! Hope you're pleased with it. Any plans to change or add anything?

Nice car for posing around uni in , good choice.
 
Thanks! Was torn between a z4 or a s2000. Premium feel and look of the zed won me over 8)

The car is alright except a few niggles I need to sort out.

-Driver side door won't unlock some of the time in the winter. (Guess won't be much of a problem since it'll be in the tropics before the next winter hits :P)
-Wipers parks all over the place. I think its grease build up in the assembly.
-third brake light cracked(not sure how it happened)

Yeah, I do plan to get a few stuff here as it is kinda hard to get those in my home country.
-Hardtop + hoist
-AUX cable (done!)
-Xenon kit (maybe?)
-Wind deflector (done! but missing the bit in the hoops)
-Asia Pacific Nav DVD.

3 things I'd be looking to do if I were in your shoes :D and fancied some mods :

1. De ginger. Takes 10 years off the car's age
2. New wheels, maybe 108s if you like OEM wheels
3. Eibachs

Those are further down the list :D I'm focusing on making my car fit for shipping first :P

Planning on to upgrade the headlights to xenon next so that should de ginger+angel eyes. I'm figuring out to go with OEM head lights that requires LCM recoded or retrofitting the headlights with xenon projectors.
 
It's rare to find a MT in Malaysia. I am guessing you brought in the E85 using your student AP? Lucky fella :)

Anyways, just for your curiosity. Here's the status of my ride.

Mods:
1 ) New Sonar headlights with bi xenon retrofit
2 ) BMW M2 replica wheels
3 ) Wind deflectors
4 ) Stubby
5 ) 3M window tints..Malaysia is so bloody hot :dizzy:
6 ) M-tech cross drilled and slotted discs all around.
7 ) H & R 35mm drop springs
8 ) Dan's ram air scoop (soon!)

Didn't realised I've spent so much already lol.

 
Thanks for the update - some tasteful mods there, I like the wheels and sounds like you managed to get that all important wind deflector :thumbsup:

Yeah, my ham fisted brother hit a pot while parking. It is getting a resprayed as we speak due to another unrelated incident. So all is well :thumbsup:
