Know it fairly well. Mrs comes from near there.

BTW - I see you discussing journey routes. Forget the A38, M42, M40 as an option. At any sort of busy time Derby is blocked around Markeaton Park area. From there expect very heavy traffic on the A446 past the Belfry (unless you pay for the M6T) and all around Birmingham on the M42 with it's tidal flow and speed controls for 10 to 15 miles, until you hit the M40. Then it is quick and empty, but you'll have driven way further and lost time Vs just sitting it out on the M1.

Yeah i have gone the A446 route previously to visit friends in coventry, but it can be slow your right.

Thanks for that, yeah i will be up for it, have to work some weekends so i will check my dates and put into the poll the best one.
