Thought I better introduce myself as yesterday I posted a problem with my Z4 roof- doesnt work anymore!!!
Bought a pre registered 2014 2 litre M Sport at the beginning of 2015. Car has been brilliant and have loved driving it especially with top down. Where I stay in Central Scotland sun can be a little shy to show itself but as long as it doesnt rain will drop the roof and turn on heating if required.
Have searched forum before most recently when I noticed Stop/Start function hadnt worked for a while. Put it down to low mileage and short journeys but as battery conditioner had been suggested, tried this and after overnight charge last week problem solved.
Used the terminals in the engine bay, if I had gone to battery would probably have found water in the boot which explains my first post in problems section!!!
Anyway have BMW Comprehensive Insured extended warranty and will find out today hopefully, if warranty was a good decision and will foot bill minus excess!!
Car has only been away 1 day and already missing it.
Will give an update when I have any news.
