Hello all!

I finally took the plunge and bought myself a Z4C!
Its been a bit of a funny day as my Alfa Giulia Veloce got picked up this morning. That was sweetened by this getting delivered this afternoon!
No immediate plans to do too much to it, but in time some subtle mods will come.
Anyway, I look forward to meeting some of you, learning about these cars, and most of all enjoying it!

Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum, congratulations on the new purchase,I do love the lines of the coupes

You will quickly learn how some members express their jealousy towards coupe owners, but they can’t help it. :poke:

That looks like an absolute beauty, welcome to the forum and to Coupe ownership. They are wonderful cars and this forum is a great source of information and ways to spend your cash.

Nice car. Looks like previous owner already modded your grill and debadged it.
Yes, along with Z4 badge delete. I would have debadged myself, but i'm not 100% sold on the grill yet. We'll see if it grows on me. Might go chrome surround with black fins.

Thanks - as is often the way!
I'm really happy with it, and looking forward to being back in an analogue car, and a community!

On a black car I think a bit of chrome would help break things up. Mine is grey so I went matt black grills as the chrome looked a bit too bling. A number plate mount delete gives them a bit more of that BMW Shark Nose vibe and is another free & reversible mod.

Well as a bit of an update, I fitted some new OEM grills today. I've got a new numberplate ready and will drill out the rivets holding on the plinth this weekend. Wheels in for a refurb next week, and spacers ordered. Spent a day detailing it, but then took it out for a thorough Italian tune up, now it's filthy again! Loving Zed ownership!

When you say OEM grilles I hope you mean chrome surround with black slats!

For some reason OEM for the 3 litre facelifts was actually chrome surround with grey slats, that I think look horrible. :(

But you are getting pretty busy with mods already compared to your introduction!

An Italian tune-up is definitely the best bit of Z4 ownership though.

I had no idea OEM for the 3.0 was grey and totally agree with you. Chrome on black all the way!

I'm enjoying being back in a car that warrants mods! Thought I'd get the basics done, then see what's next.

It's also nice to be welcomed into a community again! Thanks all!

I couldn't resist it and just removed the plinth during a 'tea break'!
Just booked the car in for CDV delete too. Man this car is addictive!
