new MC owner in Lancashire

Evening all,

Always been a fan of the Z4 Coupe and decided to buy one a couple of weeks ago, it's a black 56 plate with 39K on the clock. Absolutely loving it so far, the noise is sublime and I love the way it drives. I'm not big into taking pics so only have a few camera phone snaps of it from the day I picked it up, the dealer had it valeted so thought it best to get a few pics while it was clean & shiny.

Doesn't have a cd changer but seems to have most other options installed, just need to find a decent way of playing mp3's in it, currently using my phone connected via Aux cable. It's got the 10 speaker sound system with DSP so I think Intravee, Alpine & iPod is the way to go?

Cheers,
Steve

Hello and Welcome!

That car looks nice and has a ZHP gear knob. Was it an forum members car?

Intravee and Alpine will see you right and there's one for sale at a keen price in the marketplace

Car , spec, miles all good
What have you left behind & whereabouts in the great county of Lancs are you ?

Bought it from a dealer so not sure if it was a forum members, the Sat Nav was programmed with an Edinburgh address so if you know of any Scottish members who've recently sold one this could be it. That ad in the marketplace is tempting me at the moment :)

I'm in Preston, used to own a (standard) impreza wrx and a black VW Corrado prior to that, I was missing a black German coupe though so bought this one :D

Good stuff Steve . I have a pal who lives on Preston docks & i do like a drive out to the Fylde / Lytham
I shall look out for you on my trips over there

Cool, I work in the centre and live in Ashton so drive through the docks most days, and my grandad lives in Lytham so there's a good chance you'll see me about  Shame you sold yours though, would have been cool to see another coupe about, very rarely see them round here

Nice z, decent spec too..and yes, the sound of the M engine in particular is v good( thought the 3.0 does nt sound bad either) :D

Trough of Bowland is a good drive. Then again, in an MC, a drive to the supermarket is good. Well done.

=1 on the Trough  Wedding anniversary weekend & fancy the Parker's Arms in Newton/Bowland . Just have to X3 it instead of Z4

Oh yeah I do like driving through the Trough, not been in the zed yet but will be doing at some point. Like you say though any drive is an MC is good, I even look forward to the drive to work in the morning (all 1.5 miles of it) and that's something I never thought I'd say!

Had a few corrados myself, and I will be switching to the MC later in the year how does the z4 feel compared?
