New M5

Agree, but the key to the M5 in my opinion is the 'wolf in sheeps clothing' element. It shoudl be sleek, subtle and not shout about being a beast so I really don't think it suits that colour or any 'sporty' colour.

Having said that, If someone was offering to buy me one, I would take it in any colour

Looks good. I'd like to see more of an agressive bonnet like the M3's though. I'd want people to know it wasn't a normal 5 Series! :P

gets a big  from me.

New new 5 hasnt really warmed to me... as i still prefer the old shape.. however that looks immense.

I'm in.

I think the F10 looks better than the E60 in most guises. The 5 is supposed to be discreet and the F10 seems to echo more of the old E39 which was an understated classic + the F10 and has a long low nose reminiscent of the E38...also a classic. all imo of course

Love the front and rear profiles, but from the side it looks, hmmmm just can't put my finger on it. If I had the money would I buy one......

No, of course not, it has a roof :poke:

nice but I would not want 1, far too big

brother in law as the current style, very nice but he can't afford to drive it lol

Nice, but wouldn't that V8 twin turbo engine go great in a Z4!!!

Oh yes..... but if you read the press the large capacity engines from BMW are on their way out to be replaced by a wider range of 4cyl units including a new 4cyl Z4.

I know, spoil sports.

Not to mention the power but you can't beat a V8 soundtrack - well, maybe a V12 can! :D

We can only dream. If I win the lottery I'll make the mod.

Looks great, sort of lines that are subjective in different colours.. maybe a dark red one would be hot 8)

4.4s to 62 and 13 seconds to 124mph is pretty speedy, 189mph with the 'M' drivers package.

Have a feeling it will sound amazing too to shut up those missing the V10.

Me want

Big write-up in this weeks Autocar (they think it's "near perfect") and also a really nice article on buying all the previous versions.

Oh and Chris Harris over at Evo reckoned on a very slight downhill stretch he saw 0-100mph in 8.7 !! :o

Know what you mean on the understated bonnet, but love the stealth look as per the E39 (if that was the one prior to the E60)

Still prefer the E60 shape for STD spec though, well I did have one!

M5 E60 always seemed a little vulgar; whereas my Mspurt with 19" wheels in M5 blue was the touch of class lol....the choices of company car sub 30 yr old / naivety of youth (?) went a little off piste as I was selling the S2000.

I find it always like that. It take me a while to start liking it. It was the same for me with the E60. I never liked it when it first came out, but now I do. :)
