Looks great 
Finding a non-copyrighted professional photo can be really difficult, and we've seen recently in the ///M forum how Mtorque shut down (ultimately it seems because of ongoing hassle from BMW) so finding a pic that suits everyone yet doesn't expose the boss to legal action from BMW or otherwise is probably impossible.
I'm sure we'll all get used to it, and I'm sure people won't stop coming here just because there is a red E89 in the corner of the screen

It wont stop people for sure but it's kind of sad to see the old beasties go...
I do like the new colour scheme and swirly bits though.
maybe there could be some type of contest where everyone submits their version a picture that would suit the forum. the only thing is that the winning person is not going to maintain the rights to the picture they submit/create. it should be considered a donation to the forum and its advancement. of course,someone else would need to figure out the logistics of it.. i'm just putting the contest idea out there.

now i'll put my hands up as i was a little inconsiderate and did not thank you for the time and effort you've put into this (though i did say i liked the lines, but you've clearly ignored that and jumped at me for not liking the car part) and also maybe the way i said it came across a little harsh, so appologies for that. But at the end of the day all you had to do was say it did, but instead you make a sarcastic comment. how old are you again?

Wow, big changes to the look of the site. Thanks for the effort! Can't wait to see what else is in the bag!
That being said, I will say that the cartoon Zed at the top of the page makes the website feel too "immature" and "rice-y." If I was a new visitor I might not take this site too seriously for it's content. I propose a change to something less cartoonish, with representation form E85, E86 & E89 models.
