New Leather Retrim for Silver Grey E86

Quickster, it is worth watching this video...

There is a part 2 as well. But those creases will come out no problem at all.

So have decided to go with something a lil different but still in keeping with the Tan style of shade.

Its called Terra Asia, its a option on the Lamborghini Urus.

Just waiting to get it booked in now.

Good choice.

If you're going for a full retrim far better to chose something that not only is a bit different to the oem options but also better.

That is the problem with modern leather, it always looks very flat, it looks like a painted leather rather than a nice tanned naturally dyed finish.
You can get that finish, but not at the price point mass produced cars like BMWs need it to be at.

Modern Auto Leather is actually chromed with Vinyl to make it more durable and impervious to stains, water, sun damage etc. It's certainly not like the leather of old that you find in classic cars!

Wow! Really looking forward to see how this turns out

Great choice QUIKSTER - your seats should look fantastic once they've been done.

Look forward to hearing your views on edge. I’d love to get some alcantara work done in my coupe, including wheel. I’m fairy local to rugby so would be where I go.

In my humble opinion, it's the perfect blend of colours. The tan leather is a really nice matt finish, which gives it a really nice luxury feel against the silver grey!

What are those wheels? They're very nice!

Hi, sorry been off the forum for a while.
They're BMW 260Ms 18"
Hope this helps

Hi QUIKSTER, where did you get to on this?
All done?
Nah, Edge can't hold of that specific hide anymore :( so will probably go with one of the tan shades I selected previously.
In no rush to get it done now, a job for Spring/Summer 2021

Just as an update car went into Edge Interiors this weekend, have gone with a tan shade, official name Thruxton 1022 (Autumn) from UK Hide Co. Will post up pics when I get it back in 2 weeks.

Just stumbled across this. Looking forward to seeing the result Quikster. I think the "Terra Asia" from the Lambo would have been perfect. Definitely something I will be looking at doing when i get bored of my ind. leather "New England"/imola-red.
