So after the best part of 3 years in the motor trade the time as come to move on (moving from SEAT, which is a great brand!)

So the good news is I'm going to be working at Bowker BMW in Blackburn. It's a job I've wanted for a long time and at last I've got it! :thumbsup:

While I'm sure selling cars becomes units, price, finance, margins, targets, it's got to be much better to be with a prestige brand and one you clearly like as an enthusiast

With regards to demo, I have asked for an i3. Low company car tax and no fuel bills (I know slightly more electric). That's my head, my heart would obviously have something more tasty.

Bought the missus 225d from there last month, great dealership, miles better than Lloyds who I usually deal with.

My next car will likely be from there too.

That's to good hear, I know the team at Bowker and the owner through friends, lovley people. It's the brand and also the dealership that made this the job I wanted.
 
I was going to update my previous post but I can't find it.

Well I'm now 11 days into the job... and what a change. Superb company to work for, I've never worked in more laid back environment. The level of customer service is fantastic. The preparation of the used stock is no expance spaired which makes selling them a joy!

To be honest im like a kid in a sweet shop, i8 and all the ///M cars a man could want inc 2 Comp enditions in the showroom (sound amazing).

My advice to anyone who's not as happy as they could be at there current job is to make a change. Even in such a short space of time it's been life changing for me, I'm so much happier at work and at home.
 
It's very easy to get comfortable in a place and just deal with the shitty things... and not truly be happy. Delighted to hear you're doing well, and just a little jealous of all those M cars after seeing a large number of tasty versions parked up at Brands last week.
 
Good to see someone happy in their work. Enjoy your work and never do another days work in your life!
