New-ish... Z4MC owner

Been a Z4 owner for 18 months now, owned a really nice E89 23iSdrive in Black Sapphire. Recently me and the Mrs purchased an Abarth 500 as a daily for me and her to share as she only works part time. I love it, it was just more fun to drive then the Z4 was, so I ventured out to find something a bit more thrilling. I tried an E92 M3(DCT), A 987 Boxster and Caymen (both S flavors), a Gen 2 TT-RS and a Z4MR and MC... ALL were great cars, I tried a Z4MC in black first (had over 100k on the clock but was reasonably priced) and every car after that just seemed tame, even the lower mileage Z4MR didn't hit the spot (I think it was a poor example, didn't feel as spunky despite having less miles, plus the interior was battered).
ANYWAY I got sourced a Z4MC of which I am now the happy owner of, I've asked a few questions about them already regarding the sat nav, and found some great help so thanks peeps :3 It's a Silver Grey Z4MC with 87k on the clock, didn't have it's running in service but a full history apart from that and it's very tidy (much better then the 2 I test drove), I paid £17k which seemed reasonable (tell me otherwise >.<)... I wonder does anyone on here know the car?... Time for some pics methinks :3

Certainly looks nice & well specced :thumbsup: £17k 87k - that seems pricey with regard to less mile forum cars that have passed through here the last 3-6 months but with these cars its all relative to what upcoming spend is required & of course current condition & how it drives .
On 87k it can't be far off its next Ins 2 ? Is that looming or recently done ?

Looks great and at a good price. Shame about the sat nav...the only think I regret about mine.

Have you kept the E89 or is this a swap?

@Mr Wilks - It had an inspection 1 around 5k/18 months ago, last Inspection 2 was @ 60k, I'm planning getting an I2 done in the next 1k. I've seen some of the bargains on the forum recently, unfortunately I didn't have 10's of thousands to drop on a car as I traded my E89 in also.

@idej_z4 - I did indeed trade my E89, sorry to see it go but very happy with what I've got now :D (plus it was a bitch to keep clean being Black, I was washing bird crap off it very other day 0_o). Yeah the sat nav does date the car, but with the updates it still does the job, a handy thing just in case, I'd personally rather have it then not.

@buzyg - Thanks :3

Welcome fellow Coupe bro

If it drives & feels right, doesn’t matter how much u paid over or under ‘perceived’ market price

Lovely looking car, congrats. At £17k you should be able to keep that for 3 years and still get back most of your money even with another 15k miles on it!

Who cares what you paid for your car OP - so long as you are happy with it! :thumbsup:

It certainly looks great - but then I do like an E86! :)
