Had my Z4M roadster since the beginning of that scorcher of a summer we've just had (lucky me).

Photos seem too big to upload her on my phone... but its sapphire black with the red interior.

Had a couple of issues so far... Passenger door leak caused by the broken membrane (now fixed) and further leaks into the rear corners of the boot, caused by missing vent/grommets (presumably from the accident it had prior to my purchase). Currently own the parts, just gonna pay a body shop for bumper removal and proper install/sealing.

Other than that I've loved the car so far, and even up to now still finding time to get the roof down and open her up a bit.

If anyone knows of any eventuri/gruppe m intakes, exhaust backbox mod/upgrades, or a hardtop... They're the things I'm currently after :tumbleweed:

Cheers guys

Welcome... just in time to test the heated seats plus need to overcome the pics challenge just in case you get slapped with :worthless:

Welcome Kern , great machines & your 2 primary desires were the first thing i did to my current ZM , stock S54 Z way too muted for me  the Gruppe is a must imo , nothing lairy noisewise but under throttle it amplifies the already intoxicating induction noise to perfection .
Boxes are a tough one to get right depending on what is or isnt acceptable in noise terms 8) well worth looking up the BCS option though , i had 2 sets of these previously , fit & finish is top notch , sound more than liveable for daily or weekender

Welcome along, try again with the pics we'd like to see your Zed.
You just missed out on my sapphire black hardtop, but there's a few others out there you could repaint/wrap.

Welcome to the mad house. Lots of very knowledgeable folk here. :D

Oh and they all love pics. Hopefuly one of the mods can advise on max attachment size. Or you can post a link to a photo hosting site

Welcome mate  Can you not gain enough access to the rear vents by just removing the tail lamps?

Hi and welcome - looking forward to the photos!

Should have pics attached now, couldn't work out how to resize on my phone, but weirdly making them into a collage seems to have worked.

I think the vents are too far 'round the corner' of the bumper if you know what I mean? I think you'd still have to stuff your hand between the bumper and the boot skin and then work blind to get them in from there.

In terms of the exhaust, it would be semi daily (my main car but I dont do much driving in it through the week). Just looked at the BCS and they do sound good, I dont want anything too ridiculous (RPI), but just a bit more volume. Then obviously price plays a part after that, hence why I'd be waiting to see of anything comes up second hand. Or ideally get the OEM boxes modded to give some extra noise for a decent price.

I've heard a lot of good things about the GruppeM intake, I'm never going to pay the full price for one of those just to add some noise though, the Eventuri seems a decent compromise with good things been said about driveability as well.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow sapphire black Z4MR owner. What lovely pictures, great place to take them on a fantastic day.

High Kern, welcome along. I think i may have developed the same problem as you had with the door glass to roof seal leak but mine is on the drivers side. How did you fix it?

Tbh I bit the bullet and took it to BMW to let them do it. (Never fancy messing with interior bits with the risk of snapping clips etc., also I believe it involves removing the airbag and some other bits I think?)

The new membrane was about £40 and then about £100 labour. Obviously it can be done cheaper with your own sealant etc. But I just wanted it done and out the way before the bad weather really set in.
