Hello,

Just wanted to ‘formally’ introduce myself to the forum.

I’ve been sat in the background taking in all the info on here and it seems like a really good place. I’ve actually had my z since the end of last year and so far have change the wheels, green stuff pads, put on a stubby aerial, put in a leather wheel and gear knob and with the knowledge of cj10jeeper put in some leather seats the other night (I needed to get them off electric runners and onto manual ones). I think I bought these from Broaders/Richard so thanks to him also (saw then on eBay)!

So this is my life - in cars…

My first car, and no prizes but much kudos to those that know what it is :D

Next up when I stopped being a student

Then when I bagged some no claims discount

And now faced with the peril of getting a company car I opted out and bought something sensible(ish)

this was taken today so forgive the darkness but I only just finished washing it!

cheers guys

From a supra to a 2.0 liter bmw? Better fuel economy though :P Love your rims though

I have a travelling sales job so the 17mpg i was getting from the Supra didn't cut it. I had a choice get a boring company car or opt out and buy my own. I've done over 20k miles so far this year so the 2.0 is perfect :driving:

Welcome

How was the Supra apart from the fuel bills ? was looking to buy a late Supra TT Auto but then realised if i saved a bit harder could afford a 3.0 Z4

The supra was a great car, when funds permit I think I will buy another one as a track toy. Great value now as well.

I had a Supra, great cars in their time just a little dated now.

Aaah, then it is quite understandable, vice choice sir :D How does the 2.0 "go" though, I have the 2,5i (think it's very fast), im asking since it is a 4 cylinder...

It goes a lot better than I expected actually, a spirited drive should see it hanging on to the 2.5 - its 27bhp down I think but also 50kg lighter. It does sound good for a 4 pot but admittedly not quite as nice as a 6 :)

Okey,, but if you do drive a lot long distance and stuff I would agree that the 2.0 is the best choice. Anyways congrats on a nice ride, with the coolest looking 108's I've ever seen
