Just secured myself some new trim. I believe it carbon look leather, and hopefully a bit of a bargin.

Centre has the sports button hole as it's come from an ///M

I was after Piano black, but this is a good if not better alternative.

Is there anything I havent thought about?

That's the real thing! Great Price ! Congrats !

There are some DIY posts here on removing the existing dash and console. New pieces go back as they come off. I also have pictures of the "reverse side" of many of the trim pieces you need to remove - answers the question "how is this attached?". Broken trim parts can be expensive. Take your time and ask for help!

Good one!

Best!

Being rather bias, I have to say I love the Carbon look leather.

Nice one

I have found it's cant be spec'd ona a non ///M but see no reason why it would look out of place.

Hopefully picking it up Saturday morning, but dont know when I will get round to installing.

Need to fit my second Reinhold roof module with better weather coming (hopefully) that has to be the priority

Took a trip to London this morning to collect the trim, glad to report it's as described seems to be spotless, just a couple of clips missing, but can take them off mine or buy a few should be pennies each.

Just need time to fit now, the projects are building

1. Reinhold Remote Module (Had since Christmas) Fitted the one touch module already.
2. Short Shirt Knob (only had a month) will do this when I do the trim
3. Retrofit OEM SatNav (Need DVD drive, waiting for a bargin)

good buy there, i am interested as to how you find removing the dash sections, i have picked up some brushed alloy ones which i am going to experiment with.

I have some instructions from http://www.motortribe.it, when I can find them I will post them.

Nice bundle you bought there, whats the dash like? could do with a spare incase I buuger mine up retro fitting SatNav.

What are you planning with the alu trim, you could cover in leather quit easily.

I could post some pick of the leather one I picked up if you want.

Looks like you got a bargain if those prices quoted are correct. I much prefer the carbon look to the brushed ali in my old roadster, looking forward to the pics.

Fit the satnav first, making the hole is easier when you don't have to worry about the trim that is there at the moment ... You don't need the DVD computer yes, the hole making is the hard part. The rest is done in less then 2 hours.

Hadnt really though about doing the screen at the same time, as it doesnt look to difficult to remove the panel again which I had thought about.

It's plucking the courage up to make the hole in the dash, you have done two now so it eas for you.

I did contemplate running the loom whilst the centre console was out though.
